Youth contest: Call for essays/photo essays on the impact of the United Nations in Indonesia

Are you below 30 and passionate about writing and/or photography?
Participate in the UN in Indonesia’s essay/photo essay contest and win the chance to shadow UN staff at our Jakarta HQ and spend two days getting to know the work of the UN, with all expenses paid. Read on for more details.
Interested contributors have until 15 October 2022 to submit an essay of up to 2500 words plus 1-3 photos OR a photo essay of up to 20 pictures with captions on the way the United Nations has impacted their life or that of their community. Essays can be submitted in English or in Bahasa Indonesia, in MS Word, Open Office document or pdf file. You should also attach a digital photo of yourself.
Three winners will be selected by a panel of judges and the results announced on UN Indonesia’s website and social media channels on 24 October, UN Day. The winners will get a tour of the United Nations offices in Jakarta over two days and will be able to get to know the work of several UN agencies behind the scenes. All travel expenses from within Indonesia and accommodation expenses will be covered by the UN.
