Newsletter Joint SDG Fund COVID-19 MPTF - April 2021

Under the leadership of the UN Resident Coordinator, UN in Indonesia is managing two Joint Programmes (JPs) on social protection, namely the abovementioned Joint SDG Fund and the COVID-19 MPTF. Social protection is the core protection scheme for both programmes given its proven ability as an effective policy strategy to support populations in the aftershock of a natural disaster or crises. Its purpose is to prevent affected communities from falling deeper into poverty and facing greater poverty-associated vulnerabilities. For this edition, the progress of 2 program activities will be highlighted.
