This month, Indonesia commemorates its 76th Independence Day, an auspicious moment to reflect upon the vast societal, economic, and political shifts this country has experienced throughout its history and recognise the set of circumstances it faces today presents a unique challenge. Indonesia's constant resilience, paired with innovation, are two qualities that will enable us to recover better from the pandemic and advance the SDGs.
