50,000 people are enough to form a town. This number surpasses the population of Sabang, the westernmost city of Indonesia, 41,197 people in 2020.
@UNinIndonesia is very grateful that we have reached an incredible milestone of 50,000 followers on Instagram! What a journey we had! To celebrate this momentous milestone, we launched an Instagram competition that attracted the attention of young people across Indonesia!
From day one of the competition, we were amazed by the outpouring of thought and passion in each submission. This was an opportunity to unite as a community with a shared love for our homeland. Each entry was a journey of words and emotions, describing personal experiences, dreams, and perspectives that resonated deeply with the readers.
Without further ado, let's unveil the WINNERS who captured our hearts!
Drumroll, please...
- @atiyah_hijriyanti – Atiyah Hijriyanti from Cirebon, West Java
- @irn.mndy18 – Salma Amanda Latifa from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan
- @ahmadryoa – Ahmad Ryo Andika from Pati, Central Java
- @joy_angelc – Joy Angelica Tentua from Manado, North Sulawesi
- @kiiirzki – Rizki Syafarudin Nurahman from Subang, West Java
Why were these five submissions selected as winners? Well, the winners mentioned above not only repeated the substance of the video but also provided personal views and experiences on the issues discussed in the video. Not to mention, their views also inspired many people in our Instagram community. Hundreds of likes in fact!
Thank you to all Sobat UN who participated! Your contributions have made a positive impact on our Instagram community, showcasing the incredible mind of Indonesian youth. So, here's to you - the heartbeat of our Insta family!
One of the most encouraging aspects of this competition was the nationwide participation. Sobat UN from the bustling streets of Jakarta to the serene shores of Bali, from the culturally rich Sumatra to the picturesque landscapes of Sulawesi—all united in the spirit of aspiration. This shows that not only do UN projects reach across Indonesia, but the audience of social media followers of the UN in Indonesia also comes from across the country. Talk about representation! We are amazed by the diversity of voices that represent the young minds of Indonesia.
As we celebrate this milestone of 50,000 followers, we invite you to join our ever-growing Instagram family. Follow us on Instagram, X, Youtube, Threads, and Facebook, for more inspiring content, giveaways, competitions, and a celebration of the diverse beauty that defines Indonesia.
