Your Excellency, Bapak Teten Masduki, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs,
Bapak Mayjen (Purn) Hassanudin, Acting Governor, West Nusa Tenggara,
Bapak Marco Kamiya, UNIDO Country Representative
Government representatives and women
It is our pleasure to join you virtually to celebrate a pivotal moment in our collective journey towards sustainable growth in Indonesia. Through the United Nations Joint SDG Programme, four UN Agencies, UNIDO, UNEP, UNDP, and UNICEF in partnership with government and private sector contribute to enhancing the resilience and competitiveness of MSMEs and start-ups in Lombok and across the province.
This reaches over 1,300 MSMEs through trainings to upgrade enterprises, integrate sustainable practices, and access innovative financing. Together these MSMEs lay the foundation for low carbon green growth.
Today marks the launch of MyNyale - the first collective brand in West Nusa Tenggara.
This is more than a brand, it is a strategic platform for MSMEs. It unites diverse sectors with a shared vision for sustainability. It also promotes and preserves the cultural heritage of West Nusa Tenggara. And empowers MSMEs to compete across national and global markets
In addition, UN is proud to kick off the technical assistance program for women shrimp farmers in North Lombok, in partnership with JALA-tech. This initiative will build capacities of women to adopt advanced technologies for aquaculture while generating
higher returns.
Let me thank all our partners for your excellent support to these initiatives. Individually, these projects are transforming lives. Collectively, they are forging partnerships that safeguard our global development goals.
