End of Year Message from the UN Resident Coordinator in Indonesia

As 2019 comes to an end, my sincere thanks and appreciation to all our partners and friends in Indonesia and around the world.

Throughout this year, we have accompanied Indonesia on its exciting journey towards the SDGs- from innovative financing, to localizing the SDGs and supporting the Voluntary National Reviews - and I commend Indonesia for its leadership on the SDGs.

In the 10 years that remain to accomplish the 2020 Agenda for Sustainable Development there is much more to do. As the world begins its Decade of Action to deliver on the Global Goals, the UN looks forward to working with Indonesia in accelerating progress towards these goals.

In 2020, let us reiterate our commitment to work together to promote a better life for "We the Peoples" as enshrined in the UN Charter and to participate actively in contributing to Indonesia's continued advancement.
