Guyub Project Factsheet

The Guyub Project, a joint UN program, promoted a prevention approach based on the Rule of Law, Human Rights, and Gender Equality to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE) in East Java and at the national level. The program worked closely with local community leaders, government officials, law enforcement officers, civil society, teachers, community members, including women, youth and victims of terrorism as well as the private sector.
