20 Years Aceh Tsunami Commemoration

Marking two decades since the 2004 Aceh Tsunami, the "20 years Aceh Tsunami Commemoration" features a rich array of activities starting November 2024, culminating in the main event on December 26. This series includes workshops, educational programs, and the Traveling Exhibition—a pop-up photo display across various locations that narrates stories of resilience and recovery. These events aim to engage diverse stakeholders in enhancing disaster preparedness and resilience, ensuring the lessons from the tsunami continue to inspire and drive future disaster risk management efforts.
